A temperature sensor is needed to monitor the aquarium's water temperature. The DROK temperature sensor is ideal for aquarium application because the sensor is sealed in a stainless steel sleeve, allowing it to be safely submersed into the water.
The temperature sensor is configured as part of a voltage divider circuit (see Figure 1), and the output of the divider circuit is fed into an ADC input. In terms of ADC voltage, as the temperature increases, the temperature sensor experiences less resistance and allows a higher voltage to reach the pin.
