Quad SPI with XIP

(Ask a Question)

Quad Serial Peripheral Interface (QSPI) is a synchronous serial data protocol that enables the microprocessor and peripheral devices to communicate with each other. The QSPI controller is an AHB slave in the PolarFire SoC FPGA that provides a serial interface compliant with the Motorola SPI format. QSPI with execute in place (XIP) support allows a processor to directly boot rather than moving the SPI content to SRAM before execution.
