Introduction

This application note covers some of the power saving features of the Atmel^® XMEGA^® microcontrollers based on a data logger example. The goal for this application note is to make users familiar with the picoPower^® technology used in the XMEGA MCUs, and show how to implement the power-saving features of the AVR^® microcontrollers. This data logger example can also be the base of a real product.
