The example application is based on the Atmel AVR Software Framework that is included in Atmel Studio 6. The AVR Software Framework can also be found as a separate package online at:

The Atmel AT32UC3B1256 board controller is also pre-programmed with a bootloader and a USART-to-USB gateway application, which can be used to communicate with the target controller ATxmega32E5.
