To enable the ADC module, the ON bit must be set to ‘1’. A conversion may be started by
either of the following:
- Software setting the GO bit to ‘
1’
- An external trigger (source selected
by the ADC Auto-Conversion Trigger (ADACT)
register)
Important: The GO bit must
not be set in the same instruction that turns on the ADC. Refer to
ADC Conversion Procedure for more
details.
