Using the features described in Section Advanced Operation, the power consumption is very low as shown in the figures below. When the device is sleeping and no buttons are pressed, it uses ~0.8 µA.

When buttons are repeatedly pressed and scanned by the device as seen in the second figure, power consumption is significantly higher than when the CPU is sleeping, but is still very low at ~30 µA on average and ~80 µA when holding down a button.
