In Fixed Duty Cycle (FDC) mode, every time the accumulator overflows, the output is toggled. This provides a 50% duty cycle at half the FOVERFLOW frequency, provided that the increment value remains constant. For more information, see the figure below.
The FDC mode is selected by clearing the PFM bit.
