The Flattening Hierarchical SmartDesign action replaces the hierarchical instance with the corresponding instances from the hierarchical SmartDesign. These instances appear near the mouse cursor. The flow copies all the instances from the hierarchical SmartDesign to the source SmartDesign and restores all inner and outer connections, attributes, slices, and exposed pins.
