Memory Write Protection

All the memory blocks have corresponding write protection bits (WRTAPP, WRTB, WRTC, and WRTSAF). If write-protected locations are written from NVMCON registers, the memory is not changed and the WRERR bit of the NVMCON1 register is set as explained in the “WRERR Bit” section from the “NVM - Nonvolatile Memory Control” chapter.
