This section describes the specifics of the
interrupt handling of the device. For a general explanation of the AVR interrupt handling,
refer to the description of Reset and Interrupt Handling.
The interrupt vectors in ATmega48PB/88PB/168PB are generally
the same, with the following differences:
- Each Interrupt Vector occupies two instruction
words ATmega168PB ; and one
instruction word in ATmega48PB and ATmega88PB.
- ATmega48PB does not have a separate Boot
Loader Section. In ATmega88PB and ATmega168PB the
Reset Vector is affected by the BOOTRST fuse, and the Interrupt Vector start
address is affected by the IVSEL bit in MCUCR
