2 Module Not Advertising as Expected

Issue

Lower voltage for the TX path in the RF circuit of the module.

In some cases, the BTLC1000 module will send spurious emissions at different frequencies that will cause the peer device to treat the RF output from BTLC1000 as non-Bluetooth® LE protocol. The symptoms of such a situation include:

  • The module not advertising as programmed.

Work Around

  1. Software mitigation – Increase the internal voltage setting for the TX path on the RF circuit for the BTLC1000. To implement this software mitigation, reach out to your Microchip representative or Microchip support.
