6.6 Zero-Cross Detection (VZC) Pin

The VZC pin is unidirectional. The input signal must be a digital pulse train directly related to the mains voltage. For more information about how the PL460 detects the zero-cross, refer to Zero-Crossing Detection.

Additionally, the VZC pin is used during fuse programming to enter in the programming mode. For more information about fuse programming, refer to Fuse Programming.
