6 Digital Signature Algorithms

Digital signature algorithms involve two main processes: signature generation and signature verification. The entity responsible for generating the digital signature is called the Signatory, while the entity verifying the authenticity of the signature is called the Verifier. Digital signatures offer authentication, integrity, and non-repudiation.

In the process, a private key is used for generating digital signatures, while a public key is used for verifying the signature.
