2 Device Specific Driven Shield support Information

MPLAB® X IDE, when using MPLAB® Code Configurator (MCC) for Touch Configuration, the Driven Shield settings can be accessed via:

Configure → Driven Shield

Available Configuration Options

The following options may be displayed:

• Enable Dedicated Shield Pin
• Enable Driven Shield Plus

Device‑Dependent Visibility

The availability of these options depends on the capabilities of the selected MCU.

• These options are visible and selectable only when the device supports Driven Shield and Driven Shield Plus.

• If the selected MCU does not support these features, the options will be disabled (grayed out) in MCC.
