3.1.1 Experiment Description

The boards are placed in an oven to characterize their responses (TJ and PTOT) to an ambient temperature (TA) sweep.

CAUTION: For characterization purposes, the oven temperature is increased up to TJ = 125°C. For industrial devices, that temperature exceeds the maximum specified range (105°C) and should never be applied during normal operation.
  • No cooling system and no air flow are provided.
  • VDDCPU = 1.05V, VDDCORE = 1.05V
  • CPU frequency = 90 MHz
    Note: The Linux kernel reduces the CPU clock when the activity is low. Refer to the “SAMA7G5 Series Power Consumption and Thermal Considerations” application note, Appendix A (see Reference Documents).
  • All clocks are activated.
