This component allows the user to configure multiple application image partitions.

  This component is responsible for configuring the communication protocol used for data transfer between the bootloader host and bootloader client.

2.5 Enable Multi-Image

This component allows the user to configure multiple application image partitions.

Description: The bootloader can be configured to support updates to various locations in Flash provided that the execution space is fixed. This option enables the user to configure extra images to be used by the application for special purposes such as staging area, backup, etc.

Example: To configure this setting, click the Enable Multi-Image toggle button and type in the text box or click the arrows to configure the number of extra images, excluding the execution space. The input box contains a number in decimal format.
