2 Assembler Overview

MPLAB® XC32 Assembler produces relocatable machine code from symbolic assembly language for the PIC32A MCU family of devices. The assembler is an application that provides a platform for developing assembly language code. The assembler is a port of the GNU assembler from the Free Software Foundation.
