4 Conclusion

Many MCU systems can be modeled as state machines. Modern PIC MCUs equipped with CLB, SRPORT and CLCs offer flexible options for implementing state machines in software, hardware, or a combination of both. This capability, along with the other hardware peripherals available in PIC MCUs, enhances power efficiency, reduces processing time, and enables tasks that were previously challenging to accomplish with an 8-bit microcontroller.
