7 Link Status Feature

: The description in this section is only valid for LAN8670 revision D0.

By default, when operating in PLCA mode, the Link Status reflects the current PLCA status. If both the coordinator (Local Node ID = 0) and a follower (Local Node ID = 1) are present on the network, the coordinator’s Link Status will always appear as “Up”. If the coordinator is not correctly configured with Local Node ID = 0, the follower’s Link Status will appear as “Down”.
