8.1 Cable Fault Diagnostics (HDD)

The cable diagnostics test can be executed on an EV07R15A SAMA5D29 Curiosity Development Board. 

To perform the cable diagnostics test, run the following command in a terminal:

$ ethtool --cable-test eth0

Note: Replace eth0 with the appropriate Ethernet device name, if different.

To identify the Ethernet device name, refer to section Device Identification.
