8.2.3.15 Find And Delete Hexmate Option
If the delete form of the -find option
(see Find Hexmate Option) is used, any
matching sequences will be deleted from the output file. This implies removal of the data
entirely, not replacing it with zero bytes.
To have the
-find option perform deletion, append ,delete
to the option, for
example:-find=ff@7fe0-7fff,deleteAttention: This function should be
used with extreme caution and is not normally recommended for the removal of data or
executable code.
