5.2 Changes that Address Important Issues
(Ask a Question)Libero SoC v2023.1 includes changes that address certain important issues.
5.2.1 PolarFire, RT PolarFire, and PolarFire SoC
(Ask a Question)5.2.1.1 PF_QDR Reset
(Ask a Question)PF_QDR v1.9.101, released with Libero SoC v2022.2, added the capability to propagate the reset signal to its TX IOD. However, this capability could temporarily tristate the I/O, which is also the QDR input pin.
Libero SoC v2023.1 reverts the propagation of the reset signal to the TX IOD in PF_QDR.
If your design contains PF_QDR v1.9.101 (Libero SoC v2022.2) or PF_QDR v1.9.102 (Libero SoC v2022.3), open the project in Libero SoC v2023.1, and then upgrade the component using the procedure described in section Updating a Core Version.
5.2.2 PolarFire SoC
(Ask a Question)5.2.2.1 MPFS460T Place and Route (P&R)
(Ask a Question)The routing architecture of the MPFS460T/TS/TL/TLS devices has been updated in Libero SoC v2023.1. When you open such a project from a release prior to Libero SoC v2023.1, the P&R state will be invalidated. Rerun P&R incrementally, and then verify timing.
PF_IOD_CDR
component generates an exception message (Delay set to
0.). The timing of such designs will be completed in the next release of Libero
SoC.
