1 Introduction

This user guide provides an overview of Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) technology and explains its implementation within Microchip PIC32 MCUs, including details about the related hardware module and its associated driver.

Throughout this document, the PUF module can indistinctly refer to the hardware peripheral and to the driver.
