Introduction

This document introduces a new PWM resonant mode feature available in dsPIC33A devices that simplifies the implementation of peak current mode control for resonant converters. It provides a comprehensive overview of implementing peak current mode control on Microchip’s 50 W low-voltage LLC board, including the control scheme, circuit design, peripheral configuration and concludes with a discussion of experimental results.
