1.7 An SPI Exchange Operation Exceeding 60 Bytes May Intermittently Fail
An SPI Exchange operation exceeding 60 bytes may intermittently fail, causing the SPI endpoint to become unresponsive to subsequent commands.
Work Around
- When full-duplex communication is not required, use separate Write and Read operations instead of an Exchange operation.
- If the SPI endpoint becomes unresponsive, reset the device using one of the
following methods:
- Power-cycle the device
- Send the
SoftResetcommand - Pull the external Reset pin low
