9.2 Joining OTBR Thread Network ( Router )

  • Flash CLI-FTD hex file in PIC32CXWBZ451 board
  • Open Tera Term console:
    • Select the adequate COM port
    • Set up – Serial port – Baud rate: 115200
    • Ser up – Terminal:
      • Receive: CR
      • Transmit: LF
  • Push the reset button on the WBZ451 board
  • Type below commands to join in OTBR network

NOTE : Take channel and Networkey from Border router web Page

> dataset channel [Channel]

> dataset networkkey [Network key]

> dataset commit active

> ifconfig up

> state

> thread start

> state

The below command displays the IPv6 addresses :

> ipaddr
