5.5.6.4 JTAG Scan-chain Detection
Performs an auto detection of JTAG devices. If no devices are found, JTAG enable sequences for various families are applied and the detection retried. If any device on the scan chain does not have JTAG enabled, the "use reset" parameter can help to enable JTAG. (This will not necessarily work with devices not manufactured by Microchip.)
