3.3.3 EMAFE Peripheral Library Configurations

The EMAFE peripheral library can be configured through MCC. Following is the MCC configuration window and a brief description.

Figure 3-22. EMAFE Configuration Options
  • MCSPI source clock frequency (Hz):
Note: The MCSPI peripheral is required to ensure the correct behaviour of the EMAFE peripheral library.
    • Indicates the value of the MCSPI peripheral source clock. This value is automatically populated and is used to check the correct MCSPI configuration.
  • PCK2 frequency (Hz):
Note: Activating PCK2 signal is mandatory to ensure the correct operation of the EMAFE peripheral. The PCK2 output must be configured to obtain a 4096000 Hz signal.
    • Indicates the frequency of the PCK2 output signal. This value is automatically populated and is used to check the correct PCK2 configuration.
    • In case of PCK2 has not been configured correctly, the following warning message will be shown:
  • Enable DMA:
    • Determines the EMAFE transfer mode:
      • For Direct transfer, this option must be disabled.
      • For DMA transfer, this option must be enabled.
