1.4 Pulse Test Constant

There are three pulse constants:

P_K_t is the pulse test constant for the active energy pulse generator, in Watt-hour.

Q_K_t is the pulse test constant for the reactive energy pulse generator, in Var-hour.

I_K_t is the pulse test constant for the current energy pulse generator, in Amp²-hour.

Example:

The pulse test constant is 3200 imp/kWh (or 0.3125 Wh/imp) because the metrology firmware uses uQ8.24 to represent both integer and fractional numbers; therefore, it is recommended that this be set:

P_K_t = 0.3125 * 2²⁴ = 0x00500000
