1 High Priority Access (HPA) Overview

When you purchase an MPLAB® XC PRO compiler license, you receive high priority access (HPA) support for free for one year. After that, you may purchase HPA in one-year increments. You may purchase HPA at any time; you do not have to purchase it continually.

If your HPA expires, you will still have PRO optimizations for your compiler but will lose free compiler version upgrades, priority technical support, and free shipping on Microchip's Ecommerce website. You will maintain basic technical support that is available with the Free compiler.

Unified Licenses support all MPLAB XC C Compilers: XC8, XC16, XC-DSC, XC32, XC32++ Subscription License included new compiler version access without a HPA.

Note: Standard (STD) compilers are no longer available for sale. However, HPA support is still available for existing customers.
