16 Other Utilities
In addition to the archiver/librarian, other utilities are tools available for use with the assembler and/or linker.

xc-dsc-bin2hex* | Converts a linked object file into an Intel® hex file. |
xc-dsc-nm | Lists symbols from an object file. |
xc-dsc-objdump | Displays information about object files. |
xc-dsc-ranlib | Generates an index from the contents of an archive and stores it in the archive. |
xc-dsc-strings | Prints the printable character sequences. |
xc-dsc-strip | Discards all symbols from an object file. |
