4.3.10.4 Deprecated Attribute

The deprecated attribute generates a warning whenever the specified object is used. If an option string argument is present, it will be printed in the warning. If the CCI is enabled (see 3.6.3.4 Ext Option) a more portable macro, __deprecate (note the different spelling), is available.
