Input Mode 3: Stop Output, Execute Opposite
Compare Cycle while Fault Active
An input Event in Input mode 3 will stop the output signal and start executing the
opposite dead time and on time, as long as the fault/input is active. When the input is
released, the ongoing dead time and/or on time will finish and then, the normal flow
will start.
If Input mode 3 is used on input A, an event will only have an effect if the
TCD is in Dead-time A or On-time A. Figure 23-14. Input Mode 3 on Input

If Input mode 3 is used on input B, an event will only have an effect if the
TCD is in Dead-time B or On-time B.
