know how a change of the matching component influences the complex impedance. The
following figure shows an overview of the possible matching circuits and changes in the

A change in matching components leads to a complex impedance change, which results in a change to
a point or trace in the plot. The following list belongs to the networks described in
the preceding figure and gives an impression about the impedance change depending on the
used network and the modification of the corresponding value:
1 – Decrease Shunt Inductor
2 – Increase Series Inductor
3 – Increase Shunt Capacitor
4 – Decrease Series
