1.2.1 V_DDIOx I/O Monitor Disable Feature Causes Adverse MVIO Module Behavior

The MVIO module will not function properly when the dedicated V_DDIOx internal voltage monitor and POR circuitry have been disabled by setting the IOMON bit of the VDDIOxCON register.

Work around

Ensure the V_DDIOx internal voltage monitor is enabled (IOMON = 0) at all times.
