When the hardware is set up as described in the previous section, the resulting TCD output, and motor current draw should look like in Figure 1. Different motors might have a different current draw profile. The spikes seen in “OP2 Out” is due to noise from TCD toggling. In this example, TCD is run at the maximum duty cycle, which is one cycle low and the rest high.
