2.2 Network Topology

BitCloud® supports a Zigbee mesh topology. In general, a coordinator initiates the network and selects key network parameters in a mesh network. Routers can extend the network. The coordinator also manages the Trust Center functionality, ensuring device security in a centralized network. On the other hand, in a distributed network, routers have the capability to initiate the network without needing a coordinator.
