2 BitCloud Zigbee Stack Architecture and API Overview
The BitCloud® internal architecture adheres to the IEEE® 802.15.4 Standard and the Zigbee-defined separation of the networking
stack into logical layers. The architecture encompasses a core stack responsible for
protocol implementation and additional layers that implement shared services, such
as:
- Task manager
- Security services
- Power manager
- Hardware abstractions
- Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL)
The APIs provided by these additional layers extend the functionality of the core stack, significantly reducing application complexity and streamlining integration.
