8.4.1 Downgrade/Reflash the Firmware using OTAU

The user can use the OTAU feature to downgrade from the higher firmware version to the older firmware versions and reflash the existing firmware version again. The procedure for achieving this feature is the same as the steps mentioned above. During the firmware file selection, the user must choose the desired firmware file.

  1. Downgrade the firmware from V0.9.9.7 to V0.9.0.7.
    1. Choose the same firmware file (V0.9.0.7) from the list of available firmware files, then click OK.

    2. Updating the firmware file is in progress.

    3. After completion of the firmware update, verify the firmware version at the device side.

  2. Reflash the existing firmware.
    1. Choose the same firmware file from the list of available firmware files, then click OK.

    3. After completion of the firmware update, verify the firmware version at the device side.
