1 Introduction
The PIC32CXMTx-DB Demonstration Kits are based on Microchip PIC32CXMTx series System-on-Chip (SoC), featuring industrial 0.2s accuracy class over a dynamic range of 3000:1.
The PIC32CXMTSH-DB is a SoC solution for single-phase and bi-phase smart energy applications, including an internal energy metering analog front-end.
The PIC32CXMTC-DB is focused on three-phase smart metering applications containing an ATSENSE301HA analog front-end.
Both kits are built around high-performance Dual Core 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M4F processors. The processors operate at a maximum speed of 200 MHz (Core 0) and 240 MHz (Core 1). The boards are ETSI format compliant and are designed to interface with Current Transformers, Rogowski Coils and Shunt Resistors current sensors. The extension headers allow the kits to be connected to communications devices such as PLC and/or RF modules from Microchip.
