29.3.2.5 ADC Conversion Result

After the conversion is complete (RESRDY is ‘1’), the conversion result RES is available in the ADC Result (ADCn.RES) register. The result of a 10-bit conversion is given as follows:

$\mathrm{RES}=\frac{1023\times V_{\mathrm{IN}}}{V_{\mathrm{REF}}}$

where V_IN is the voltage on the selected input pin and V_REF the selected voltage reference (see description for REFSEL in the ADCn.CTRLC and ADCn.MUXPOS registers).
