4 Development Flow
In this application note, the development flow is presented in a somewhat reversed order, starting from a completely open, unencrypted, unsigned platform, and then securing components “upstream” from the running operating system back to the ROM code. This approach allows security features to be added one layer at a time and avoids the need to get everything working together from the beginning.
This application note relies on the Buildroot tool to manage the process of building a working SD card image that can be run on the SAM9X75-Curiosity development board.
