27.1.8 Operation During Sleep

The SMT can operate during Sleep mode, provided that the clock and signal sources continue to function. In general, internal clock sources, such as HFINTOSC, continue to operate in Sleep mode when selected as the clock source, whereas external oscillators, such as F_OSC and F_OSC/4 cease to operate in Sleep.
