3.5.5 Average Apparent Power

Average apparent power over the integration period may be calculated directly from the current and voltage RMS values, as defined in IEEE® 1459:

Where, x = [A, B, C] and:

• S_x_VAs is the average apparent power of phase x
• S_x_f_VAs is the average fundamental apparent power of phase x
• I_x_rms is the fundamental and all harmonics current RMS value
• V_x_rms is the fundamental and all harmonics voltage RMS value
• I_x_{1 rms} is the fundamental harmonic current RMS value
• V_x_{1 rms} is the fundamental harmonic voltage RMS value
