2 ATA8510 Device Overview

The EEPROM memory, within the ATA8510 device family, contains the configuration settings. Program this memory with configuration data for the operation of the ROM firmware or Flash application software. If applicable, an external host controller controls the operation of the ATA8510 device via an SPI communication.

Note: Use the SPI commands or the programming tool chain to perform the EEPROM programming.
