2.5 Working with Expansion Boards

Expansion boards are made to save developers time because by using expansion boards the user does not have to worry about designing a new board just to test some idea or concept. They are a perfect solution for users which requires tested and affordable hardware, supported with FREE libraries and technical support. They simplify integration and later upgrade of the project or products.

SHD offers a wide range of extension boards connected through standardized headers and connectors such us mikroBUS, Xplain PRO, RMII, Ethernet PHY and Arduino Uno among others.

Once the expansion board is selected, all the hardware settings will be automatically configured by including configurations of I/O lines and all PLIBs and drivers that are needed to prepare a full interface with the expansion board.
