Case 2: Secure SAM-BA Monitor is still
available (the “MON_DIS” word is zeroed in the Boot Configuration Packet - not recommended
for systems in production)
Disable the access to the external boot memory (Chip Select pin, Card Detect Pin,
etc., depending on the chosen boot memory) to prevent its access by the ROM code on
the next reboot.
Connect a USB cable on the USB device port, or on the UART used as SAM-BA Monitor
console terminal.
Reset the chip.
Enable the access to the external boot memory.
Program the bootstrap using the SAM-BA tool.
Lock the Boot Configuration Packet.
