4.3 Environment Setup

The following steps outline how to set up the environment:
  1. The user must extract the EV79Y91A package folder.
  2. Inside the EV79Y91A package folder, locate the install.sh script.
  3. Double-click the install.sh to run the script.
  4. The install.sh script generates the Harmony 3 (H3) folder repository.

  5. After executing the install.sh script from the EV79Y91A package folder, it clones all the required H3 repositories. Following this, the H3 repository environment becomes available within the EAP package at \EV79Y91A\H3.

  6. Open the MPLAB® X IDE, then add the Harmony Content Path. Go to Tools>Options>Plugins.

    Note: The Harmony Content Path varies depending on the user’s folder structure.
  7. Click Apply, then Click OK.
    Note: The user must restart the MPLAB X IDE tool.
