The WINCS02 Module offers higher Transmission (TX) power and lower receiver sensitivity compared to the ATWINC15x0 Module, resulting in an extended communication range. The users looking to enhance the communication range without redesigning their existing ATWINC15x0 system can directly replace the ATWINC15x0 Module with the WINCS02 Module on their application board, provided that VBATT and VDDIO operate within the 3.0-3.6V voltage range.

The ATWINC15x0 Module features castellated pads, while the WINCS02 Module uses Land Grid Array (LGA) pads. Despite this difference, the WINCS02 Module maintains footprint compatibility with the legacy ATWINC15x0 Module.
