1 Device Overview
The PIC32CM JH00 and GV00 families are well suited for low-power, cost-sensitive touch applications and they share a common set of key features:
- Peripheral Touch Controller (PTC): Supported by Microchip’s touch libraries to create smooth, responsive user interfaces
- 12-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC)
- SERCOM modules
- Programming and Debugging Interface Disable (PDID)
- Low Power Operation:
- Supports Idle, Standby and Off mode
- SleepWalking peripherals: Allows the selected peripherals (like ADC and SERCOM) to operate independently while the CPU stays asleep, minimizing power usage. More information on SleepWalking can be found here
Differences between the two families:
- PIC32CM GV00
- 3.3V operating voltage
- Up to 32 KB Flash/4 KB SRAM
- 10-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC)
- Timer/Counters (TC)
- PIC32CM JH00
- 5V operating voltage
- Up to 64 KB Flash/8 KB SRAM
- 24-bit Timer/Counters/16-bit Timer/Counter for Control (TCC) with extended functions for motor control
- Four Configurable Custom Logic (CCL) modules
